I just found the greatest article ever written:

Greatest Movie ever made: Karate Kid(with Back to the Future, and No Retreat, No Surrender a close 2nd and 3rd.)

Out of extreme boredom I have finally decided to pic up a new hobby.

Ready for it?  ....

I've decided that i'm going to start playing the guitar.

Yesterday I went ot Costco and picked up my new Yamaha Acoustic Guitar.($160 w/ Case, stand, tuner, and strings).  Pretty good deal.

Typically I go all or nothing w/ my hobbies. There is no middle-ground.

1)I either completely flake(I.E basketball, and the 20+ times that i said that i was going to practice and become good).

2)I become completely obsessive(OCD) and anal and devote every waking moment to the hobbie(I.E  Weightlifting. . (I paid $24 in Hawaii just to go to the 24hour fitness, not to mention the oatmeal and protein powder that i packed in my suitcase))

Hopefully guitar playing becomes like the later.. and I really develop a passion for it.

The first song song I'm going to try to learn is Babyface-Someone to Love.  Definitely want to learn some Journey as well.

To Tim Leung-(although you don't have a Xanga, haven't been on AIM in like 2 years, and probably won't read this)

It was really good to kick it with you for your graduation party last weekend.   I don't think i've hungout with you in nearly 2 1/2 years. (Jan. 20th, 2003 Xanga entry (Clipper game/UCLA trip to be exact))

I remember back in the day, when i would go to your house everyday.  Playing street fighter, magic cards, B-ball, or just chillin.  I had some of the best experiences of my life kicking it with you(Speech and Debate tournament where we got high before giving our speeches, the time when you guys left me past out on your couch(beer bottles surrounding me) when your parents came home, UCLA/Clippers trip was pretty sick, as well as many more)Although we may not be best friends like we were in elementary and Jr. High, you have always been a genuine and real chill person.  I know that when i hangout with you, 1)I'm going to get into trouble 2)I'm going to have a damn good time doing it.

I've always respected how you could be "the life of the party", and just have that personality that draws so much attention.   In some respects I'm envious of your life.  Beginning anew in SJ,  65k starting EE job, chill and cute GF.  Regardless, you deserve everything you get, best of luck down in SJ.

Be sure to hit me up again circa July 2007.. for our annual 2 year kick-it.

Question of the Day:

What is proper etiquette when talking with/hitting on girls @ the gym?

I never know when to approach, and when to back the hell off.  Today for example, some cute blond chick was eyeing me when i was working out, giving me the "come talk to me on the treadmill look."

However, I always hear girls saying that they don't like to be bothered when they go to the gym to workout.(same mentality as myself)

And yes, I approached several @ the ARC back in the 'vine w/ mixed results.

So typically I tend not to approach now, unless it's blatantly obvious, w/ the "can you adjust the seat for me" or the "what is a good exercise to work ******".
